Harold started Alaska Diesel Electric in the town of Cooper Landing. After two years he moved to Anchorage to keep up with orders of the Lugger propulsion and power generation systems. After opening shop in Anchorage, he started selling snow machines and pleasure boats, as well as, his Lugger and Northern Lights line of diesel powered applications.
